The happy hour at Bonney Read is like no other. You can literally eat like a queen/king without maxing out your credit card. Everything is extraordinary. The items on the raw bar are reasonably priced. The mussels are drenched in so much flavor. The steamed clams come plain with butter and lemon on the side. They are so addicting. The chorizo and clam fritters are surprisingly awesome. The only thing we didn’t try was the chowder dog. There is something for everyone on this menu. If you don’t like seafood, you can order anything off of the “snack” menu.
I’ve been thinking about this happy hour for weeks and can’t wait to go back.
