Indian food is by far my favorite food on this planet. The amount of spice, preparation, and love that goes into cooking these dishes is truly impressive (and we would know because we have tried on numerous occasions and have barely touched the surface). To be honest, we have not been to an Indian restaurant that we weren’t fond of. We’ve even encountered one or two that were owned by Americans with American cooks; which was totally inspiring. What it comes down to for us, is the freshness of the dishes and the variety on the buffet… And Tandoor E India excels at both. The restaurant is in the back corner of an interesting shaped shopping mall that is pretty hard to turn into. Once you find it, you’ll see that a warm and friendly atmosphere awaits you. The buffet ($10 lunch, $18 dinner) is always a perfect option for newbies who are feeling adventurous and for those of us who just can’t get enough. They offer a variety of rotating dishes that are always outstanding. Ordering from the menu is always a wiser decision if you want your food to be the freshest that it can be. The entrees range from $10-$16 dollars. They even offer a Groupon where you pay $15 and get $30 worth of food (excluding the buffet). We buy this often! The reason I love Indian food so much is that every single bite contains so much flavor. You literally taste the cumin, coriander, cinnamon, bay leaves, coconut milk, etc.. in every bite. The abundance of flavor floods your senses. And if you can take the heat, they’ll accept the challenge! Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Mahkani, Saag and Palak Paneer, Chicken Vindalo, Navratan Korma, Samosas, and the buffet variety are the dishes featured in these photos.
I’m about to move back to New Jersey just so I can eat at all of these places HAHA
