There are just so many nice bar/restaurants on the Jersey Shore and it’s such a fun experience trying to hit them all. Rella’s is an upscale bar with delightful food with reasonable prices and awesome entertainment. On some nights they have talented musicians perform, while other nights they keep it low key with some trivia and games. They have Happy Hour from 3-6. Each time that I’ve been to Rella’s, it’s been quite a chill experience. They are very accommodating to large crowds and splitting checks. The Buffalo Calamari and Drunken Clams are two spectacular appetizers. You can even order them family style to feed your whole table.
The Blackened Sea Scallops Salad ($16) was probably one of the best salads that I’ve had in a long time. It was so simple, yet so tasty. The scallops were literally perfect. The flavor and the texture were just unbelievable. The soy ginger dressing was a little sweet, and paired so well with the greens, slivered almonds, orange pieces, cucumber slices, and grape tomatoes. I wish I invented this salad because it was that remarkable.
These dishes were also delicious: Salmon with Citrus Butter (sub spaghetti) ($20), Chicken Francaise ($18), Chicken Parmesan ($17), and Shrimp Penne Vodka ($22).
