It was such a privilege to be able to attend The Boca Raton Bowl’s 2017 Great Chefs Tailgate. Not only were we supporting college football, proceeds of the event went to the Spirit of Giving charity, just in time for the holiday season.
It is always a treat to dine at local restaurants when visiting family and friends in Boca Raton, so imagine how cool it was to feel like we were dining at over 20 restaurants in one trip! This gave us a chance to find our favorites and plan for our next vacation!
Some of the tables we loved were the three innovative flavored chicken wings from Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar, the chorizo slider from M.E.A.T Tap House & Eatery, the paella from La Paella Chef, the carne asada shot from Los Bocados and of course the tuna tar tar at Bolay and Boca Raton Resort & Club. My dad especially enjoyed the meatballs from Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery and my mom was all about the dessert from Happylicious by Betsy. We appreciated the love that went into the layered pumpkin mouse cup from Seasons 52 for dessert and the 32 Bubbles ice cream waffle food truck.
The winning restaurants included Ceasar’s Famous Ribs who was awarded “Most Spirited”, Boca Raton Resort & Club, “MVP” and Bolay took home “Judges Choice” for the second year in a row. Seasons 52 won best dessert. Congratulations to all restaurants and great choices, judges.
